You will start your journey through Paratrehos' rural area and ascend the Koskinas mountain.
The dirt trail leads you through the green valley of Potamia to the oldest church on Naxos, Agios Mamas.
Continuing southwards, you arrive at the remarkable cave chapel of Mary Virgin of the Cave (Spiliotisa) where you pause to explore, have snacks, and stretch your legs.
Then,you will head northwards on a sketchy rocky trail to the 17th-century Marigoulas tower (Paleologos tower), a remarkable building that blends into the surrounding Naxian landscape.
Finally, you follow the dirt trail back to Naxos town through the villages of Vivlos and Glinado.
