Experience a Romantic Sunset Cruise to Remember: Explore the Volcano and Hot Springs on a Wooden Sailing Boat
Embark on a peaceful and unforgettable excursion aboard a wooden sailing boat departing from the charming old port of Fira at 15:30. You'll be transported to the small port of Nea Kameni in just 10 minutes, where you'll have approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to explore the wild and fascinating volcanic landscape. Walk among different volcanic rocks and observe the active craters, still emitting steam and the distinct scent of sulfur.
Next, the boat sets sail for Palaia Kameni, home to the therapeutic hot springs located in the small bay of Agios Nikolaos. Take a refreshing swim in the sea, and climb down a ladder to reach the mud baths, believed to have beneficial properties for the skin and other ailments. The boat remains in the bay for about 30 minutes, allowing you to take full advantage of this unique experience.
As the sun starts to set, the boat will cruise around the caldera, providing breathtaking views of the houses clinging to the edge of the cliff, with the stunning colors of the sunset as a backdrop. Relax on the wooden boat, listening to soothing music, and enjoying a glass of local wine.

- If your trip is cancelled for your own safety due to high winds or rough seas we will try to arrange another date. If that doesn't suit you for whatever reason, you will receive a 100% refund. No worries, no fuss.
- For cancellations made at least 3 full days prior to the scheduled day the whole amount of your down payment is returned and there will be no additional costs.
- For cancellations made 3 full days or less prior to the scheduled day, the down payment is not refunded. The same applies in case of non-show.
