Head first to the northern part of the island and embrace the best of Oia village. Continue your trip and stroll around the narrow pathways of Megalochori traditional village. This settlement is made of hundreds of small white-painted houses with exquisite architecture, tiny alleys, tower bells, beautiful blue-domed chapels, and underground cave houses. In this picturesque and non-touristic environment, you’ll truly be basking in the local culture and lifestyle.

At the extreme Southwest part of Santorini visit the Akrotiri's lighthouse. Built by a French company in 1892, it’s considered one of the most beautiful of the Cycladic Islands and a unique point to watch the sunset. Head up to the Mountain of Prophet Elias and admire the most breathtaking view from the island's highest peak. From this vantage point, you will enjoy a striking view of the entire island. The Mountain's name is Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elias), coming from the Monastery with the same name on its peak, built-in 1711. Whilst in this stunning and peaceful environment, you may as well taste wine and local products made by the monks, who reside at the monastery.
